The 4401 Optical Oxygen Analyzer provides some major advantages over traditional membrane style electrochemical sensors and zirconia cells. One analyzer can be used for both gas and liquid phase measurements. Phase fluorometric measurement technology gives a measurement that is impervious to pressure changes and chemicals poisoning. With a stainless steel NEMA 4X enclosure and FM / CSA Class 1, Div II rating this product is well suited for industrial oxygen measurement applications in upstream and midstream natural gas, refineries, chemical plants, and other harsh environments.

The BOS SAFETAP is a retractable or “hot tap” Optical Oxygen Sensor.   The sensing tip can be inserted through the ½” ball valve up to 4 inches into process pipelines and vessels.  When sensor maintenance is required the sensor can be easily retracted  Safe-T-Handle and isolated from the process through a ball valve.  The BOS SAFETAP can be used in processes up to 750 PSIG (51.7 bar).  Built in tubing ports allow for insitu calibration and purge when the sensor is retracted.

The BOS FLEXSENSE optical oxygen sensors are based on the common PG13.5 standard for sensors. This design has NPT threads that allow for easy installation into flow cells for use in sample line installations. THe BOS FLEXSENSE has options for 316 Stainless, Titanium, and Hastelloy C-276 wetted materials. An optional ANSI/ISA 12.27.01 Dual Seal certified version is available for installations where the analyzer will be in a different area classification from the sensor.

The BOS FIBERSENSE is designed for 1/4 inch slip stream measurement applications. The sensor tip can be installed through a traditional tubing compression fitting. Each oxygen sensor can be ordered with or without armored flexible conduit.

Barben Analytical’s SCP Oxygen Sample Calibration Panel provides a pre-engineered sample conditioning system for gas phase oxygen measurement.  The system includes the necessary pressure and flow control components for a successful installation.  Two bulkhead connectors provide ¼” tubing connections for calibration gas connection.  The SCP Sample Calibration Panel works with our BOS FIBERSENSE oxygen sensors to provide reliable, accurate oxygen measurement.  For liquid phase sample panels please consult Barben Analytical.
